That most cetainly is a beautiful building... Bet they woln't speak a word of its past to the customers though. I Adore the twisted tree in the pic. and the sky looks wonderfull. One of my favorite pictures. My familly visited one in Oregon that had been altered to suit a restaurant. When you walk through the halls the sides feel as if they are pressing in on you. Oh well, nice picture...

Love the pic. But it sucks that they tore it down :disbelief: Danvers State Insane Asylum was an amazing place..and now its ugly yellow condominiums. :bleh:

I'm torn on the condos. In some ways I like the idea because usually old buildings made into homes, like old factories, have a really interesting feel to them and layout. I really liked the Grey building though and that was one of the first to go. :(

Still its pretty sad to see such a beautiful place be demolished. :tears:
But at least its memory has been preserved through art/photographs by people like yourself! :D
